Project Overview
For this project, done for FleishmanHillard and AT&T Labs, I shot all the interviews, broll, and demonstration footage. I also edited, sound designed, and touched up some of the graphics that were provided to me.
A video like this requires the interview talent to be comfortable in front of the camera so they can focus on what they want to say. Film crews are invasive and can be overwhelming. I use a variety of methods to build trust with the interviewee and minimize that invasiveness. This builds a better quality video.
I used some interesting kit on this project. I had the presenters do the demo for the cameras and later had them do it again for the screen-capture you see in the edit. The scan-converter allowed me to pan on and zoom into the image for framing purposes without sacrificing any resolution, which would have occurred had I zoomed in with software-based screen-capture, so I could maintain excellent image quality throughout the video.
