Project Overview
From about 2013 to 2018 I shot and edited over two hundred episodes of "AT&T ThreatTraq", a weekly cyber-security round-table discussion of AT&T data security analysts. The show covers current events in the cyber-security and was for the public, distributed on YouTube and other platforms.
The show had 3 distinct styles during the time I was involved. On the original version of the show I was responsible for the editing and graphics creation. It was recorded via webcam and delivered weekly under deadline.
The next version of the show took place with all guests on one set and was recorded with a mobile studio including three Panasonic AJ-PX380s routed to racked mounted KiPro decks, and included a dolly. My job was to manage the set lighting and the set-up of all cameras and camera positions. I ensured technical and quality control over all video recording. I edited the footage, created and added the graphics, and delivered the show to spec for all distribution platforms. I also produced all social media segments requested. I did this under deadline from my home studio.
The most recent version of the show was shot on various sets throughout the AT&T corporate campus, including the chief security office and the Global Network Operations Center. As Director of Photography, I was in charge of principle photography, setting up the cameras (Sony FS8s, and Sony Alpha 7SIIs) and the frames while ensuring proper lighting on all sets, managing a small team. I also edited the show each week, created and added graphics, and delivered the show to spec along with all social media segments and under tight deadlines, from my home studio.
