New York City Skyline, Magic Hour - Timelapse (Music: Apocryphos, Kammarheit, Atrium Carceri - Drawn Like a Moth)

Project Overview
I frequently shoot time-lapse video, both for clients and fun. The time-lapse above of the New York City skyline at “magic hour” was licensed to a media services company, Generic Brand Human, as stock footage for use in one of their edits in 2019.
The goal of shooting time-lapse video is to minimize the flicker that occurs when two frames of slightly different exposure are placed next to each other. The transition from day to night- or what time-lapse photographers call ‘holy grail exposure’- is very difficult to capture without flicker. There is a unique workflow to accomplish that.
